As a side note, one of the preeminent figures of the supposed Philadelphia Experiment was Morris K. Jessup:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_K._Jessup

The reason I brought up his case is that reading the book "The Philadelphia Experiment" by Charles Berlitz, in consultation with William L. Moore, ISBN: 0-449-20526-6, Fawcett Crest Book.

There was a passage in the book that may resonate with the experiences of targeted individuals.

(Ivan T. Sanderson describing his meeting with Jessup on Page 76 of the book)

"At this our last meeting he was extremely distraught and admitted that, due to an originally pure intellectual interest in natural phenomena, he found that he had been swept into a weird and insane world of unreality. He expressed out-right terror at the endless stream of "coincidences" that had occurred in his work and in his private life; but, beyond this he was distressed that he might be accused of out-right insanity should he mention these aggravation and related matters."

(Jessup describing his experiences, also on page 76 of the book)

"..I don't think I'm going balmy but I do believe all this nonsense is actually happening and is not a figment of my imagination."

Jessup was later found dead in his car with a hose running from the exhaust to the interior, apparently a suicide.

The wikipedia article makes it appear that he committed suicide due to the poor sales of his book, though the article did make references to other possible causes. Despite this they omit any reference to the aforementioned passages.

The words and phrases that made the most impact on me were "Insane world of unreality", "endless stream of coincidences", "not a figment of my imagination" because they are similar to what I and many other targeted individuals experience. We experience a world of "unreality", many coincidences, especially with directed conversations, street theater, in movies, on the internet, on radio shows, etc. Many targeted individuals are driven into depression, and mental illness. They sometimes exhibit behavior that is erratic and unstable, unfortunately many commit suicide. Furthermore, we are made to believe that all that we experience is simply a figment of our imaginations, when it isn't.

It wouldn't be too beyond the bounds of reason to tentatively conclude that Mr. Jessup may have been a Targeted Individual.
